PowerHouse take over the Metropole.
Last week PowerHouse had the pleasure of managing a top HR software company’s annual conference. The Hilton London Metropole was the set of the 600 people 2 day event taking over the majority of the huge hotel, proving to be very painful for our feet! By utilising our in-house conference management services we built an exposition room with 12 sponsor stands of varying sizes with one of the Platinum sponsors taking the look of a VIP lounge with beautiful white furniture and plants giving delegates the opportunity to network in comfort. The main plenary room directly above was managed seamlessly by our In-house AV team with successful keynote presentations shown on 3 large built in Plasmas ensuring all delegates experienced the conference fully. The PowerHouse team quickly transformed the Expo room into a party atmosphere using our LED bars, lamps and vibrant house lighting in order to prepare delegates for the after party at Madam Tussauds. 6 double Decker buses and the VIP Voyager transported guests down the road to join their favourite celebrities.
On Day 2 PowerHouse welcomed many bleary eyed delegates back into the conference, each equipped with their specially prepared survival kits to get them through the day. The final day was filled with brilliant speakers, networking and awards. A champagne reception brought the conference to a relaxed close which left PowerHouse with the mammoth job in tearing down all rigging, stands and furniture to return the hotel to its regular form.
This was the third year PowerHouse has managed the conference, each year it gets bigger and better so we cannot wait until next years! The ideas are already flowing.
